Meetings Are Second Tuesday at 7:30 pm at the Hiller Aviation Museum
Chapter 20 is a very active community of pilots and aviation enthusiasts based at San Carlos Airport. Our events are open to all EAA members and drop-in visitors. Join us the second Tuesday morning of the month at 7:30 pm at the Hiller Aviation Museum.   ​Mentors and a group of aspiring Young Aviators spent over three years building a Van’s RV-12, which took its first flight September 19, 2020! Watch a new professional 20-minute video about the journey.

RV-12 v. 2.0 Build Launches GoFundMe to Raise Money
Please consider supporting our second RV-12 build. The 30+ Young Aviators, who are supported by dozens of mentors, have launched a GoFundMe to raise money. GoFundMe is designed to help pool donations of all sizes. Please consider contributing any amount. Thanks!

A team of 30+ students and 20+ mentors is building another Van's RV-12! If you're interested in participating as a mentor or student, email chapter20build@eaa20.
We are actively seeking donations to support the Young Aviators RV-12 Build Program.
  • Give online using the donate button on the donate page. Choose “Young Aviators program” in the drop-down menu.
  • To donate by mail, send a check payable to “EAA Chapter 20” to EAA Chapter 20, 620 Airport Way,​ San Carlos, CA 94070. Note “Young Aviators build” in the memo field.
