Elizabeth is an FAA Certified Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic. She was awarded the Patti Grace Smith Fellowship, class of 2022, earning herself a paid internship with Relativity Space.

THOMAS CARLSON
​Lead Mentor

A little over a decade ago, Thomas learned to fly at the Reid Hillview Airport. A year after earning his Sport Pilot's License, Thomas began building his first VANS RV-12 with his father.

Ella has been surrounded by aviation for her entire life. Since the age of seven, she has been a regular volunteer for events hosted at the San Mateo County Airports.
