Young Eagles: Flights for kids 8 to 17

Picture
Chapter 20 pilots have provided 9,380 Young Eagles free airplane rides to youths since the program launched in 1992.
Visit YEDay.org for details about Young Eagles events at San Carlos, CA, airport and registration. We typically host Young Eagles events the third Saturday of the month.

Young Eagles
is an EAA program that gives youths between the ages of 8 and 17 an opportunity to experience their first flight in a general aviation airplane for free. The sole mission of Young Eagles is to introduce kids to the world of aviation. More than 2.2 million young people have participated in this program, which is offered free of charge with costs covered by EAA volunteers.
